Are you thinking of joining the US Army?

Students who choose to participate in Army JROTC will receive a four-year, sequential program of study that emphasizes:

  • academic preparation

  • citizenship

  • leadership

  • character development

  • service to the community

  • scope and nature of the Army

Students will develop personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment, and the program will instill self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline.

Something to think about...

The average Active Duty is similar to working at a full-time civilian job. Service members receive an Army benefits and pay compensation package worth $99,000. Noncash compensation represents almost 60 percent of this package. Noncash compensation includes health care, retirement pay, child care and free or subsidized food, housing and education. Coupled with regular cash compensation, this adds up to attractive military compensation for Soldiers.
